Delivery - FAQ's

If you’ve provided an email address or mobile phone number you will receive an email or text message when your order is dispatched. This message will give you your tracking number and a 1-hour delivery window.

If you’ve not received tracking information from the courier on the day your delivery is due to arrive, you can contact us with the delivery postcode and we can provide your tracking number and update you on the progress of your order. Our award-winning customer service team carefully observe the progress of your parcel to ensure that it arrives as swiftly as possible.

Deliveries will arrive between 8:30am-8pm.

We have chosen DPD as our courier to deliver our crates. Once your order is dispatched you will receive an email or text message with the tracking number and a 1-hour delivery window, if you have provided an email address and/or mobile phone number.

Our award-winning customer service team will carefully observe the progress of each parcel ensuring that all of our gifts arrive as swiftly as possible. Deliveries will arrive between 8:30am-8pm.

Free Standard delivery for our seed boxes and Growbars are made by Royal Mail on a 48 hour service. Although the majority will arrive within 2 working days, this is not a guaranteed service. Delivery can take up to 15 working days.

If you require a guaranteed service within UK Mainland, please upgrade your order during checkout.

DPD will always try to leave a parcel safe or with a neighbour and will drop a card through the letter box to let the recipient know. When you place your order please let us know if there’s a secure place or trusted neighbour where the parcel may be left.

Please bear in mind it is not always possible to leave an attempted delivery card in blocks of flats, and leaving a parcel safe is at the driver’s discretion.

If receiving a delivery at home is difficult we can deliver to places of work and wedding or party venues, which may be more convenient.

Please provide us with an email address or mobile phone number so the courier can send the tracking number which you can use to check the progress of your parcel.

UK Standard delivery is free for seed kits and on orders over £100. An £8 discount will apply to orders over £100 that are to be delivered outside of UK Mainland or on delivery upgrades.

Yes! We deliver throughout the UK but the postcodes below are couriered on a 2 day service but please note that this is not guaranteed.

Yes! Overseas orders arrive on a 2-5 day courier service dependent on destination. We work extremely hard with our partners in Europe to deliver swiftly and whilst the majority of our international parcels arrive on schedule we are unable to guarantee delivery on a specific date.

It is highly recommend that a local mobile number is provided with the order to avoid any address queries which would result in a delivery delay.

The majority of our crates are sent as gifts which are delivered directly to the recipient. Because of this we never include invoices or prices with our crates.

We also deliver to places of work and wedding venues to make receiving your order as convenient as possible.

We take a break on bank holidays and couriers are unable to deliver on bank holidays. We may not be able to deliver the following Tuesday of a Bank Holiday Monday.

We recommend choosing to have your order delivered the Friday before  the bank holiday. We give plants a good drink before they leave us and have designed our packaging to keep the plant happy for a few days.

It’s essential that any unopened crate be kept in a cool, dark place- well away from direct sunlight or central heating. An unheated shed, cellar or garage is ideal. If you’re unsure about the best delivery date to choose please get in touch.

We’ve spent two decades developing the best way to send our unique gifts and have devised not only the best-looking and most original packaging but also the cleverest and most secure, ensuring that all our plants arrive in perfect condition however far they have to travel.

Each and every one of our plants is hand packed to order by our talented team. Plants are carefully cocooned in wood wool within a sturdy wooden crate and sealed with wax paper.

The lid is secured and tied with large raffia bows, to which we attach a tag with your personal gift message.

The crate is popped into a smart cardboard box for collection in the evening and is swiftly couriered overnight for delivery the very next day.

If there is a specific day on which you would like the gift to arrive, simply select the desired delivery date on the calendar during checkout.

Our standard cut-off time for next weekday delivery within UK Mainland is 2PM. This may change during peak times.

If you have just missed the cut-off, please call us on 020 7627 0800 as we may still be able to process it manually for you.

We’re super speedy! If you order by 1pm we can deliver to UK mainland addresses the very next day. We can also offer a same day delivery service within London, get in touch with the delivery postcode for a quote.

Incorrect delivery details slow deliveries down so it’s important to get the address right before it leaves us.

If you’re struggling to find an address or postcode please get in touch and we will try to help.

If an incorrect address is provided there may be a charge for subsequent re-delivery or return to us.

Whilst this is not an option when placing your order you, or the recipient, may choose to redirect the parcel to a local shop to collect at your convenience once it has been dispatched.

If this service is available in your region you will be offered this option by DPD when they send your tracking number via email or text so make sure at least one of these are provided when placing your order.

Please note that if you do choose this option you will not be able to select any further delivery changes. We recommend that the parcel is collected from the shop as soon as possible, to ensure that the plant remains healthy.

The named recipient’s photo ID must be when collecting the parcel. Unfortunately we are unable to change the  named recipient once a parcel has left us. 

I am afraid we cannot. Any orders for those addresses will be refunded within 24 working hours.

It may be possible for you to call in and pick up your order from us at our depot in Battersea, London.

Give us a call to place your order and allow us at least one hour to package the crate before you arrive to collect it.
