We’re always delighted to find a plant that’s perfectly suited to the fickle British climate, especially when it’s as exotic and tasty as wasabi! The main stalk, known as the rhizome, is traditionally eaten with sushi, but the leaf stalks and leaves are delicious too.
Wasabi plants will grow happily in moist, well-drained soil in a cool, shady location. The wasabi plant will die down completely and become dormant during the winter months.
Our wasabi crate contains a healthy wasabi plant and a bag of feisty, spicy wasabi peas to nibble on while you await your first harvest.
