Our favourite little guava plant, the Chilean Guava is a pretty ornamental shrub that produces clusters of bell-shaped little pink and white flowers. But here at Glut HQ we’ve always called it the Strawberry Guava, thanks to its delicious deep red, strawberry-flavoured berries.
Queen Victoria was also a big fan, apparently because those tasty berries handily resemble little crowns.
The helpfully low-maintenance guava will flourish in a sunny, sheltered position.
